Summary of "Call of Duty"

In the article "Call of Duty" theres a man called Jose Armenta, who joined the military and he was assigned as a Dog handler, Zenit. What dog handlers do is that they sniff out bombs that are hidden in the ground. When Jose and Zenit first started to work together, Jose thought Zenit was too sweet to even be a dog for the military. The next day, Jose thought Zenit was a great companion. He felt like it was meant to be. One day, it almost came down to an end. Jose was close to a bomb and blew up part of his leg. Zenit barked for help until someone came. Zenit didn't want to leave his side, nor did Jose. This article made me think that friendship actually last's long. Even though people treated Zenit like a piece of equipment, Jose treated him like a friend, and a companion.
